Project research activities

Research and development of energy absorption performances of auxetic structures with negative Poisson’s ratio. Evaluation of dynamical material characteristics of unidirectional cellular structures produced by explosive contraction technology. Evaluation of cellular structures obtained by rapid prototyping of metals such as titanium, copper and aluminum. Development of thermographic non-destructive testing methods for composites and metals including development of image processing algorithms. Further development of Xenon flesh light active thermography for non-destructive testing of metal structures.

Development of intelligent interactive facade systems based on on-site testing and measurements that are part of PoC project. Integration of hybrid system to ventilated modular facades.

Research and development of innovative methodology for numeric and experimental evaluation of energy performances of passive and active building facades (within UNISTEM CEKOM project).

Development of modular structural concept of hybrid modulus for production of electrical energy from photovoltaic and small-wind-turbine systems.
