The secrets of electric power are revealed at this Department. Where does the electric power come from, how it is transferred and how can it be put to use – these are the questions we are dealing with. Electrical machines are our main subject area, but we also devote equal attention to industrial control and management of complex facilities and processes.
The activities of this Department are closely followed by some important industry players – apart from solutions researched at the Department, these companies also seek successful students as potential expert-level employees.
