Facilities

The FESB Faculty building contains one large lecture theatre  (capacity 450) and eight smaller lecture theatres (capacity 100 – 150 each), 19 lecture halls, 8 classrooms, 77 laboratories, computer centre, library holding a collection of 13.000 books and 250 journal titles, 180 faculty staff offices, Faculty cafeteria, café, 2 copy centres and garage.

FESB building was one of the first buildings constructed at the University of Split campus. Even before further development of the campus site, the Faculty had significant capacities, state-of-the-art equipment and it still covers the largest area at the campus. For the last 50 years, the Faculty standing is built on the work of reputable experts in both areas: teaching and academic research.

Media coverage

The Agency for Science and Higher Education awarded the certificate of high quality to three doctoral study programmes of the University of Split. The certificates were awarded to the FESB doctoral study programmes “Machine Engineering” and “Electrical Engineering and Information Technology” and the doctoral study programme “Civil Engineering” at the Faculty of Civil Engineering, Architecture and Geodesy.
