Department of Mathematics and Physics

About the department

21 members of staff, 7 laboratories, 2 chairs and 7 projects

Did you know that the mathematicians from this department developed one of the most advanced web search engines adapted to Croatian language? This department closely cooperates with a number of Croatian and foreign faculties and institutions such as CERN LHC – where physicists carry out fascinating projects aimed at explaining the origins of particle mass, contributing to understanding of structure of the universe and other fundamental issues in the area of particle physics.
