The Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Naval Architecture is a modern higher education and scientific research institution focused on the development and application of the latest technology in the fields of engineering sciences.

High standing of the Faculty as scientific research institution has been confirmed through numerous successful research projects, published scientific papers, and especially through cooperation with recognized national and international scientific and academic institutions.

The Faculty is actively involved in collaborative research projects and programmes on both national and international level and participates in the activities of scientific centres of excellence, acting as organiser and co-organiser of academic and research conferences on national and international level. The Faculty is also actively involved in processes of knowledge and technology transfer.

Faculty has exceptional scientific potential which has been developed through work of the research groups in the scientific areas of Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Naval Architecture, Computing, basic engineering sciences, Mathematics and Physics.

The recognition of the Faculty as a scientific research institution has been confirmed by numerous successful scientific projects, published scientific papers, and in particular by cooperation with renowned national and world scientific research and academic institutions.

With about fifty scientific projects, FESB is at the top of the institutions with science as one of its highest priorities. The number of publications is therefore steadily increasing, especially in the Current Contents category of magazines, and the projects themselves are becoming more interesting. Collaboration with other scientists around the world is also richer, as is the reputation of FESB experts who are leaders or participants in these globally interesting ventures.
